“This piece was mainly inspired by the spirit I felt when I first visited the campus… everything felt warm and green. I wanted to capture that moment of glory… The bagpiper… appears at ceremonies or in battle. In this case, both… we are constantly celebrating and constantly battling with ourselves… The silhouette of the Scottish terrier… a symbol of courage… For me, the piece stands for the acknowledgment that we are all on our path somewhere… even if tomorrow isn’t warm and green… we can have the courage to tell each other that we dreamt of it.” - Henry Wang
