40s Carnegie Tech Varsity Sweater - S/M

40s Carnegie Tech Varsity Sweater - S/M

From The Archive

This is a Carnegie Tech varsity sweater made by O'Shea Knitting Mills of Chicago. Worn by athletes and cheerleaders at Carnegie Institute of Technology and Carnegie Tech, this is a heavyweight wool sweater with our signature tartan "C" as a felt wool emblem in the center of the sweater, a creative touch on the letterman sweater. An absolutely beautiful piece of Carnegie Tech history in the form of clothing, this piece is one of our proudest in our Archive.

The oldest piece of clothing in our collection. It is so old that we can't even find a reference image of this tag on the internet. There is a red version of the tag dated to 1940s, so we postulate that this piece is from the 40s or earlier.

Not for Sale.
